2010 Summer New Items Now Posted
All of the Märklin Summer new items and 2nd quarter
exclusive items (MHI) are now posted and you may place reservations now
for the items you desire.

Place Your 2010 New Items Pre-Orders Now!
All of the Märklin and Trix new items are now posted
and you may place reservations now for the items you desire. Our
Pre-order prices are valid until April 30th or until the quantities we
have placed on pre-order with Walthers are sold out. We will post
new items information from Fleischmann and Roco soon. Fleischmann,
Roco,
HAG, Faller Vollmer, Noch, Pola and Busch 2010 new items should be ordered by email rather than through our
shopping cart. Brochres are available for viewing on our
home page. Just email us the manufacturer's name, item number and
desired quantity and we will order these items for you.

Märklin Museum Cars No Longer Sold Outside of the Museum
in Göppingen
Märklin Germany has announced that museum cars will
no longer be made available for purchase anywhere except at the Museum
gift shop in Göppingen. We regret this decision and believe it to be
unwise and detrimental to the company's image with its' long time
customers in the United States and other countries who cannot go to the
museum each year.

Price increase coming in February 2010. Well, you knew it
was coming.....
Märklin Germany has announced a price increase will
take effect February 1, 2010 on Märklin, Trix and LGB products. Prices
have been held stable since October 1, 2008 despite rising costs of raw
materials. At this time we have not been informed of the percentage of the
increase.
Order the models you have been considering now
before the price goes up!

Now Available.
Place your order online with Walthers and have your order filled through us.
We are now a member of Walthers internet dealer network. You may now
place orders on Walthers' web site and have your order submitted directly to us
for delivery. Best of all, you get our 20% discount on most items ordered.
This gives you prices that are typically lower than Walthers' sale prices.
The only exclusions are a few brands which are short discounted to dealers, like
Märklin. You will receive our regular discounted prices for those items.

Find the item(s) you want to order using the advanced search.
Click on the order button beside the item you want.
On the Shopping Basket Screen, click on the "Select a Local Hobby Shop" button.
On the next page, select VIRGINIA
On the next page, click the "Order From Helmuts Hobby Specialties" button.
You may now continue to add items to your shopping basket or you may click on
the "Proceed to Check Out Counter" button.
Check Out:
You will provide your contact details to Walthers, which will be sent to us with
your order. Follow the instructions on Walthers' web site to complete
check out. When finished, the final instructions are from us telling you
how to submit your credit card info securely through our own shopping cart
system. Please do this or call us with your card information if you are a
new customer or if your credit card information has changes since your last
order. If you are a regular customer with credit card information on file
with us, you do not need to complete this final step. We will fill you
order using the information we have on file for you.
We will process your order and get it on its way to you as soon as possible.

NORSCOT UPS Trucks finally arrive!
We have filled all backorders and will receive a few more pieces this week.
So far we have sold over 50 trucks. These are very nicely done and fully
authorized by UPS. They feature all metal construction with roll-up cargo
door and interior package shelves.

Märklin Announces 39564 Black Crocodile for the 150th
Dealers were notified this week of a special crocodile release for Märklin's
150th Anniversary. Those who purchase an anniversary package offer from
the factory may buy a small quantity of this model. We have sold out of
our original quantity, but are working on acquiring a few more. The price
for the 39564 is $735.00. Please contact us if you are interested in
acquiring this special model.

Märklin INSIDER Anniversary BR120
Märklin has put a specially decorated DB AG class 120 electric locomotive
on the rails in Germany to promote their 150th anniversary. Insider
members can now purchase their own copy of this sleek beauty in HO or Z
scales. The model is quite beautiful in stunning black with the
outline of a steam locomotive's running gear in red. Certificates to
order your model are in the mail right now. Fill them out and send
them to us before the deadline. As usual, we discount the price to all
club members.
